[ About ]

RSS is a Web content syndication format. RSS an acronym for Really Simple Syndication and is a dialect of XML

XML is a standard way to store and transfer information between computer systems and many word processors also use XML for storing documents.

RSS originated in 1999 as a way to define a standard way to list articles, or extracts from them with links to the main article, and has strived to be a simple, easy to understand format.

The first version, known as RSS 0.91, limits a 'feed' to a maximum of 15 items, and the 'content' to only 500 characters. It is still in use by some suppliers.

After it became a popular format, developers wanted to make it more useful, and the extended standard, released in 2002, is known as RSS 2.0

Our feeds use the wide-spread newer RSS 2.0.1 standard and can be produced automatically from our own sites or semi-automatically from other sources.

In both cases though we take care of all the technical aspects and you just make use of the information.
